There will be evening lane closures on I-95 in both directions beginning on Wednesday, Sept. 11, through Friday, Oct. 11 in Milford.

The closures are expected between exit 33 (Ferry Boulevard), and exit 36 (Plains Road). The project is expected to be worked between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. on Monday through Thursday.

The Department of Transportation said that the project consists of concrete deck end repairs and asphaltic plug joint installation on the bridge that passes over the Metro-North railroad tracks.

According to the Department of Transportation, "motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity."
